Router is self explanatory
Verify game- go to your library, right click robocraft, select properties, local file tab then verify files
Verify eac- find your robocraft folder, open eac launcher, select robocraft then there is an option to verify files.
Past that try the helpdesk or #help on the official discord. Just don't ping devs, mods or admin. Post your problem & if anyone knows anything they will help.
1) verification of game files didnt work
2) EAC is alright, not causing trouble
3) Reistallation of Steam and of Robocraft (in this order) didnt work
Also, because my game doesnt start up, no output.log is registered, but on terminal i get a srange error about the libraries of the game.
The good news are that i could partially fix the problem, because now the game instead of running in background doesnt even load, it crashes right after clicking the "play" button.
Any help will be accepted, thanks
P.S.: my PC stats:
OS: Linux Manjaro 4.19.99-1
CPU: 2x AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 270 Processor
GPU: GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050Ti]
Motherboard: M5A78L-M LX3
Memory: 8 Gib RAM
If the game doesn't even launch something is preventing it. Are you sure eac is fine? Do you have antivirus or maleware that is blocking eac? Could you make an exception for eac in those programs if you have them?
Did you try restarting your router? I have no clue why this sometimes works. It's happened to me & I could stream vids online or play other games, test my net to find no issues but restarting router got rc to work.
I would also still recommended the official discord. Steam forums are pretty dead other than salt & tech issues. Unfortunately, I am mostly the only one that answers tech issues & tbh, I only repeat fixes I have seen. Many of the people I picked these fixes up from still pop in here & there on the official discord. A few of them are knowledgeable linux users.
The helpdesk is also a better option than steam forums but slow. If you contacted them & no response I would say try again after a week or so. 1 guy does rc, rcx, cardlife & gamecraft but gamecraft is the only game still in development so likely the focus.
Good luck, hope you get it running. Sorry I don't know more.
