CPU no longer affects damage, right?
I came back to this game today and noticed that "damage boost" bar is gone

correct, now the current meta is to build to 2,000 Cpu, or as close as you can get to it.

why is that? isn't it more important to stay in the tier you want to play in?

At the time of his post all tiers could be played at 2k cpu. If you made a 2k cpu bot with t1 movement & t1 weapons (even a few t2 weapons) it would be t1. Now if you use 8 t1 wheels & 4 t1 weapons & build over like 800cpu you are bumped up to t2. So at the time of his post, not building to the limit would give you a hp disadvantage.

This is why necro can be confusing for this game. Old info is often outdated & incorrect.

For most games no but rc changes more often than McDonald's changes their fry grease.

With the addition of tiers they are trying to iron out issues & fix balance. We have had regular updates that dramatically change things every few weeks since tiers & are likely to have more. The 7th we are getting leaderboards & an odd attempt at mm in the form of weapon proficiency. Soon f=ma will be added to more parts. I would suggest either making new threads so more players look at them or join the official discord/forum that are still active.

I worked at one 24yrs ago & about every 6mo the grease was changed which is less often than rc changed before ending development. My statement was true at the time of post.
