How To Build A Bad Bot

Want to build a crappy bot? Build one that looks like a dinosaur, anime character, car, castle, giraffe, duck, boat, wall with words, picachu, cat, dog, horse, or anything else that falls under the category "art bot".
Seriously, stop it. They suck. All of them. If your team wins, it's not because your dilophosaurus scared the enemy. I am sick of tripping over you and dying because your bot is nothing more than a stupid target.
Maybe the devs need to make an art bot arema for all of the kiddies to play in. Everyone else, see you in game.
(Let the butthurt replies commence)

Shoot, try hards are still in the game, I thought the league would have gotten rid of them in this casual game.

I get top scores with my art bots all the time. Bot design means nothing in this game anymore, slap 4 rail erasers on anything and you can get top score if you actually know how to aim. Slap a blink on there and you'll never die if you know how and when to use it.

Ironically the only butthurt here is you.

Stop whining about art bots.Blame the matchmaking,not the players' creativity.
If you can only build bricks with guns,then get out.Game is based on how creative you can get and and how good you can do with it on the battlefield.
Art bots can do well in-game if the user that plays with them does it properly.

i think there should be a "hub" to show off your building skills for CREATIVE players. Anyone and everymonkey knows in this game, all you need to make is a rectangle or square to be tanky.
I embrace and enjoy seeing something better than a stupid square. Quite frankly, it makes me laugh sometimes to see spongebob, or gas grill kick butt on the field.
Building anything that is NOT a square and bringing it out to fight, shows Balls and a love for more than the MONKEYmade box of destruction anyday. Just my opinion.

However... no weapon trolls are terrible, cages are terrible, and bots that do not fight..the same terrible. Also-do not forget- poor piloting. You could have a great bot..it is the driver that may not be great. Bad decisions are often the loss of many bots.

I have an a-10 tunderbolt and i top score every time, a single strafe run is enough to kill any medium to heavy targets and if you don't die the first time you won't be in any state to retreat.

Let me guess, you still live at home and can play for as many hours as you like on any given day (so long as you have done your homework)?
And your comment is any better? In the words of Robin Williams, "go suck a dead dog's nose."
I have never farmed anything in this game. I play to have fun and build new or different bots as the "funds" come in. I don't play just to earn game credits. I am just sick of craptastic builds. If you disagree, so be it, but any one person's personal opinion does not make or break this game.
Some of us don't have 8 hours a day to play and actually enjoy having a solid team on at least one game in an hour.
Now, go make your bed, brush your teeth and change into your jammies. Mommy is watching and will take good care of you.
I keep hearing stories of winning art bots, but how do you quantify that? Maybe I should just take everyone's word that the opposiing team was comprised of all GOOD builds (not one art bot amongs the opposition) and your art bot was the top scoring bot? Meh, not gonna do it.
If your art bot is truely good, it's rare. Admit it, 99% of art bots are just that, ART.

OP is apparently not a fan of ROSEFALL or other youtubers who make artbots that do very well most of the time... artbot does not mean failbot....

Artbots can play a distracting role as well. There have been times my fancy bots get rekt because the other team all gangs up. Some of these times it allows my team to cap or hit base while the other team all shoots at the pig. Yeah I get the lowest score on the team but it grants a fast win and with double win score I still come out in top half. Other times they function normal and fail no more than other builds (as in testing phase).

Ever heard of combining form and functionality?

Use common sense when you build and artbots are just as good if not better than any generic gunbed, plus they give other players a lol. I for one can appreciate being killed by a giant anime girl with a chainsaw.

i enjoy converting them. if there were no art left in the game there would be no reason to play.

you might remember a game where a guy brought a giant ascii face of adolph hitler and actually managed to take alot of damage. you won't recall fondly all those times you got backstabbed by a tesla ghostblink disc or tortured by a tesarect.
art bots are few and far between. most of the totally ineffective bots are just underdeveloped.
the matchmaking sucks. we get that. it can do that with or without joy.
