1750 max cpu level makes for silly bots...
seems to me most guys running 1750 cpu matches run bots with as many legendary guns and modules as they can possibly fit and talk about what a great build it is when in all reallity it is a half finished bot. oh they do great in matches which makes me even sadder. here is a bot with a total of 25 to 50 cubes at most and its being touted as a great build, oh it does great in scoring. however your building a minimalistic bot with high cpu stuff sitting open on it...there is no cpu left to actually build with....these are 500 to less than 1000 cpu bots with big guns and cpu pricey modules...the building aspect of robocraft and true inventiveness seems lacking compared to this games potential. tiny bots with giant guns are what run rampant in 1750 cpu matches and do well...but the creative build, what truly sets this game apart is sadly missing because the cpu limit is too low. i think a raise to 2000 to 3000 cpu range would make a big differance and bring more creativity and better more believable well built finished looking bots to the game. at level 150 there is very little to strive for especially if league status is of no interest and being competitive means making crappy little bots with tons of legendary crap stuck to it. i would like to see finished looking bots fighting at max level not ones that look under 1000cpu with crap stuck on them...get to level 150 and 1750 cpu and feel like i have to go backwards in my bot building to be competetive, that is silly in my opinion. anyone else agree?

get above your standards? what standards are they? (big headed, cocky american) 10.000 posts of you "ACTING" like a know it all has given you your ego. and in past comments ive seen you write has been a load of bs, literally just you being like " shurikens cant destroy me im too good for them!" or "yeah i know everything and you know nothing im god"

Damn Americans be thinking they're the only nationality on the entire internet.
No, i'm not american.

I see the same stupid threads made every day. People refusing to improve themselves and instead labeling stuff OP/UP to their desire.

Missile is op, no i've never used them.

Flak made planes useless! no i don't even have a flak in my inventory why you ask?

teslas are way to strong instakilling everyone!!! what do you mean i should look behind me that bs.

Teslas are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, pub stomping and nothing else. I can litterly just press space on my rail and be immune to them. Only time they ever get to kill me is when i purposely ignore them such as when dealing with another enemy or capping a tower.

It's hilarious how an entire person can be made uselses simply by pressing 2 and blinking away, but noobs will be noobs i guess.

imagine, 7850 cpu cos-mega.

Although I wouldn't mind more cpu to play around with, although it dosn't squish creativity. more cpu would be awsome.

i find that 1750 cpu inhibits my creativity a great deal, at least if you want a bot that can compete for a spot in the top 3. and don't you think that you could be more creative if you had at least 250 cpu more to play with? kind of surprised how a post about a minimal cpu raise is getting so many negative replies...would think ya'll would be like hell yes i want more cpu! i could be far more creative in builds with that xtra cpu....you fanboys never seem to want any change to the game even when it's something you would actually enjoy changing. that is very strange to me and rather silly i think. especially when the game is in alpha.....i mean here is your chance to say hey developers i would really like at least a little more cpu to play with, i know your not gonna give us megas but can we please just have a little more? and you all pretty much go naw i'm happy with the way it is...seems crazy to me. especially when you guys say you have been playing this game for years...i have played it for 2 months have reached max level and feel like my bot creativity is stifled by a 1750 cpu cap. makes me wonder if ya'll are all that creative or if you just run over powered mechs all the time. and then there is the "it's never enough m8" ok i can buy that, but is it also never too little! a person can be a gluton if given too much or starve if given too little...and after 2 months and max level, i feel like i am starving. which in the end means myself and hordes of others like me will more than likely feed at a differant trough other than the one freejam is presently filling. leaving you fanboys, who love to be starved, to play the game with yourselves and a bunch of 10 year old noobs fresh to the game. enjoy that future! to be honest i'm not sure why i even write posts in these robocraft forums. seems like its the same 20 fanboys saying the same things over and over, as if the future i am describing is already here....

we just got 1750cpu cap increase.

there's not just rainbows and suger to higher cpu cap chap.

TTK increases to stupid levels at higher cpu, wepons have to be balanced at a wider scale, the player base gets thinner across the levels, all bots have to be completly redesigned.

Megas were the epitome of stale, you were litterly just a bullet sponge with 5x TTK and only 2x damage.
that is gluttony...i am talkin healthy eating at 2000 cpu prob not that big of a cpu change to make the kind of effects you are talking about....a level that allows for an athletic bot not annorexic or obiese. and remember i am giving you my perspective as a player who has maxed out in level in 2 months and thinking ok might as well move on to a differant game this one with 1750 cpu is starving. i never played with megas i only know the present system and it is losing me and probably many others because of it, even more than the disconnects and desyncs that make the game uplayable at times. they don't make me want to stop playing the game as much as the 1750 cpu starvation problem....that is what can really do a job to those player base numbers. and is not the entire point of the game designing bots? how is redesigning bots a negative? for me and many others that is the best part of the game, and what sets this game apart! it certainly is not the "stunning graphics" or "amazing battle play", there are other games out there that are far superior in those realms.... and that my friend may be where the true problem lies. a design game dumbed down and aimed at 10 year old children. which in reallity means there are kids much younger playing it. i mean many kids that age, in this day an age, have seen rated r movies and played rated m games, so a 6 or 7 year old playing robocraft is probably just as common. they have the physics set up in the game so a 3 year old can make just about anything fly. then to top it off they cap the cpu at 1750 so that anyone with a true desire to design beyond that level is left in the cold....and you guys wonder why no one knows how to play like a team in matches...because half of them are only 6 or 7 and don't even understand the concept yet, but they can build a 1750 cpu bot, and talk smack, and spam chat, no problem. because a design game built for children isn't a design game anymore.personally i think freejam should take a look at eve online and see what happens when you smarten a game instead of dumbing it down....

that'll just move the bar from 1750 to 2000.

you'll quit the game once you reach 2k instead of 1750, nothing more really.
then you understand very little i have written in these postings.

like i said i wasn't here for megas but i can see where there can be 2 much cpu...i think 2000 would be a much better cut off point. however freejam more than likely doesn't care what i think...i am not in their target audience. other than i paid premium those 2months ive been playing this game.

Well, the reason i liked megas was because i could build massive bots that looked amazing, just right now it's kinda like you can ether have a good bot, or a nice looking bot, however there are cosMegas which fit both looking good and power, but they are super expensive to build.

I think they removed megas because they had to downgrade to servers that couldn't handle them anymore, now that there is less players footing the bill.

Or maybe that by removing megas A: it became easier to balance parts, B: removed a large amount of server load (for one big bot) so that there could be multiple, slightly bigger bots, C: they were often more harm then good, when you got a poor mega your team was doomed, D: megas moved the focus away from team based to single player and supporting lackeys.
