"Life" of a LOML user
LOML is one of the biggest game ruiners in this game. It isn't even that great at it's intended use as people just duck for cover after you hear that bloor curling LOML scream. It's kinda like a stuka, it's not effective but it's annoying as hell. LOML users always complain about how it's underpowered and well, as much as I would hate to say this, they're right. As soon as a LOML victim gets locked they dash for cover and gets very annoyed because he had to stop what he was doing and run for his life. The LOML user is very annoyed because his victim dashed behind cover and he didn't get any hits. Then, when the victim comes out and tries to continue the game the cycle continues again and again till the game ends. In the end everybody gets annoyed and nobody benifits. I think FJ should do a rework of the LOML for this reason.

Life of a LOML users: damage score: 2000, objective score: 0, KDA: 0/2/14
LOML is only good against sluggish targets with no ability to engage in a ranged fight, most bots can dodge 90% of the missiles by just moving around, primarily small hoverbots and small drones.

it's in a pretty bad spot right now, since the maps got reworked, there's a crapload of cover to make use of pretty much anywhere, wich will not only block the slow moving missiles, but it will also make the LOML user lose the lock on it's targets pretty easily.

Terrible on ground bots and mediocre on flying bots, and it's made 100% useless if there happens to be a railer, flak cannon or a medic in the enemy team.

sounds like you guys are not using it right......

this weapon is pretty strong and the fact it scares the target into hiding is a very strong asset....

it can be dodged but its still easy to hit even fast units with this.........

its best to think of this as a support weapon..... although its possible to get high damage it generally wont (especially if your just using it at max range)

its better on flying robots obviously since its harder to hide from it when the rockets are coming from above (but obviously your at risk from aa)

this weapon has a few nice tricks you can do btw.....

one trick i have done which can be tricky but it works...... placing this weapon behind you will let you shoot missiles straight up in the air (its trickey because they can sometimes shoot to the side) but this lets you shoot from behind cover..

another thing you can do is dumbfire it.... you dont need a lock to fire so even at close range you can still blast robots to bits with it......

its a great drone/flyer deterant... nothing worse than having a drone or 2 trying to get to your spawn area..... this weapon is very good for keeping them down and using plasma on your entire team and allowing their entire team to move forward...

if you like the close quater combat or long range combat with high dmg this weapon is not for you....... if you enjoy supporting roles this weapon is very good.....

consider a medic..... u see a teammate getting killed .....just lock on.. most enemy urobots will run as soon as you start hitting them, ur teammate lives and you can heal him... a little..

lots of ways to make this work... just play around

That's why i think LOML is balanced right now, it is useless, but it is op for it's role

Pretty sure I can take on any twin viper helicopter with my 1k CPU plasma/laser copter without much thought put into it other than shooting their rotors down, I got like 4-5 seconds to shoot at them where they just won't be able to fight back, then you just break their lock and repeat, either way, there are certain matches (particularly those with a lot of planes and shotgun sleds) where they can somewhat work fine.

If you want a good support weapon, you should be using railguns instead, same job, only 5 times better and you can actually finish bots on your own without needing to hope that they fear the LOML instead of just shooting it down.

not sure if it was an exploit or what, but i've seen some guy the other day take 24 kills and 44k damage on a single match using some sort of drone with railguns...

LOML can never be a suppot weapon for damaging, they are just a weapon for scare the crap out of the people, otherwise it is useless :v

I think the LOML is just very annoying and ruins the game rn. Rails are like 10x more effective but they take, compared to LOML, alittle skill so when i'm killed by rails I don't get annoyed unlike LOML cuz all you do is move your cursor.

It's not your main firearm unless you're using
Proto
Nano
low power lazers/Plasma/Rails
teslas
or Flak.

What does that have to do with anything?

Well, unlike you I am unwilling to spend my life savings on a legendary disc shield that counters an epic LOML which costed only a fraction of the price.

Also super easy to shoot, and I said this in my other posts so please learn how to read

And watching missiles fly to a target doesn't take any skill I think you mean luck.
