Spider legs move on their own?
Is it normal that the spider legs make you walk on their own? I just press w for a few seconds then they just keep moving

Try camera control & or a small hover somewhere on the bot (preferably higher & near center of mass (either i or o turns c.o.m. on))

when i was able to launch thegame for a brief moment i tried out my spider bot in ai and yes mouse controls seem to keep them stable didn't get to try for to long so i cant help since the devs don't know how to work with the linux comunity instead of against them.

Make a mech. For the time being bug legs are kind of where wheels are...hard to use. I have heard they are in queue to be fixed but for now a mech or sprinter seems to be a good alternative.

I suggest to place a few small thrusters pointed downward in the front and the rear areas of the robot. This allows for a complete stop and is useful when you need a downforce as you are climbing.Also- camera control is somewhat helpful too. Legs got a little love but requires more time or learning curve than most other movement options. I have found that combining hovers with legs is a no no, for now. It causes the legs to get "grabby" on to the ground and makes your bot Awkward for lack of a better term. It simply does not go well together.

If you have an insect leg on the back of the Robot (as well as the sides), this will usually cause it to continue moving - we know it's an issue and will be giving insect legs a re-work.

In the meantime, if you remove the back leg, it should stop when you want it to.
