The devs turned things around and brought back tiers but it really isn't the same without the look of the old blocks and progression system.

That is just a silly question.....both of them. Seriously, it's a free game all you need do is download it, try it out then decide for yourself.

As far as microtransactions how are they supposed to pay for servers & dev income in a free game without microtransactions? Not that I was any kind of fan of crates but it only took about an hour to go into ai & crank out what would've cost $50 in crates. If you think about it that's like making $50 an hour which is more than many teachers make. The game was actually fun from the start through the return of tiers. Players kept whining about crates but before that you could pay money for parts & levels which is actually more p2w than crates. You could buy levels then overtier to crush noobs. At least during crate days every weapon was viable & on a new free account it only took 18 matches to get the new "legendary" weapon & I even sold items to get it. Players these days are stingy & lazy.

Sure, they brought back tiers & elim but many don't want to play elim, mm matches tiers 1-3 2-4 3-5 and now you can upgrade weapons for higher damage which is not considered in mm. Upgrades were to give vets something to do with excess robits.

None of this matters though, devs gave up & have stopped developing rc, cardlife & infinity. They also admitted that crates was the only time rc made money & before you call it greed a business can't survive w/o making money.

Personally, I blame the community as much as the devs for the state the game is currently in.....life support with pulling the plug a short time away.

I redownloaded rc last week to make Screenshots of my old bots for future use and I have to say FJ dumbed the game down soo bloody much, everything which shouldn't fly, logically or it used to be too heavy is able to fly without problem, the game does everything for you!

If you played rc for the building aspect, to build something that works after trying and experimenting a lot, this game is no longer for you.
For me atleast it is the case.

Yoh... I was browsing and just came upon this game:confusing:...Immediately I was hit by a wave of emotions as this was my all time favourite game like 6-4 years ago...I was ok with the loot boxes being implemented what peeved me was the nerfing of everything that made the game good. There used to be helium blocks and crystals you'd shoot to capture points... now there's just a point you sit on and capture, the things in this game now are things you'd find in any other basic game out there... so what make RoboCraft special now... what makes RoboCraft the game we all loved to play.. nothing really... its an empty shell, the cover is what we recognise but there's nothing inside to be satisfied with... if its been 6-4 years they won't fix the issues... its a dead game...

They basically deleted their own game and sabotaged it, partially because of terrible advice by fans which I noticed, and Freejam needs to know when the players are ridiculous, and when they're actually logical about the game. An important note for a Game Designer is to know the main game's purpose, and how the game is meant to be going forward, unlike Robocraft here which had no game plan after launch apparently besides fiddle with all the possibilities to make money, rather than an actual game with great structure from start to finish. I think they got carried away from their launch response that quickly died off. They went too far with updates, and everything was so screwed up before i even got here, that not even Freejam could save themselves from the mistakes prior. They're making their best move which is to try again with everything they got and what they learned from this Robocraft. Perhaps this time they can make a game without relying so much on the players, and being more in charge of their project like real genuine developers, yet without screwing up your game with your own choices. Goodluck to them, and knowing what they're doing. I honestly like what i see in Robocraft X (GameCraft) so far.

If you have all of the parts unlocked you may still have fun designing and perfecting your creations. As for the Multiplayer, people who've ground this game to nothing now have weapons no intricate design can survive. I really don't see any point in playing this game by strongly following the rock-hard meta this game was successfully ruined by. If you enjoy spending time in the garage, it's worth playing, however you will still need to get techpoints to unlock parts. Idk, I think the devs at this point might as well just unlock everything for everyone, because the multiplayer is completely ruined now anyway.

I dont think ppl would have complained about crates nearly as much if robits had been included from the get-go. i got about 70 PSKs and didnt use a single one of them. and they werent worth ♥♥♥♥ to sell without premium.

Also which part of the community? those who wanted fast-paced action play or those who wanted tactical play? or another faction that wasnt in the spotlight as often?

Well thai game WAS fun around 2013-2014 years. When it just came out. Later onn it became ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Now its dead beyond redemption. There is no sense in playing it at all. There aren't many new players and game will throw yiu into max tier lobby games where you will get owned.

You forgot the children, why else would have FJ added bubbleblowers and bloody balloons?

They were also the reason the game got simplyfied. Have you seen wings?

Dude, the bubble blowers were freakin awesome!

I was actually referring to everyone. Myself for not being critical enough, anti robocraft force for being borderline terrorist, whiny kids that cry about opening rather than learn or put in effort, devs for poor decisions.........

Smoke emitters to destroy the ozone layer would be more awesome!:bonehead:
