As far as microtransactions how are they supposed to pay for servers & dev income in a free game without microtransactions? Not that I was any kind of fan of crates but it only took about an hour to go into ai & crank out what would've cost $50 in crates. If you think about it that's like making $50 an hour which is more than many teachers make. The game was actually fun from the start through the return of tiers. Players kept whining about crates but before that you could pay money for parts & levels which is actually more p2w than crates. You could buy levels then overtier to crush noobs. At least during crate days every weapon was viable & on a new free account it only took 18 matches to get the new "legendary" weapon & I even sold items to get it. Players these days are stingy & lazy.
Sure, they brought back tiers & elim but many don't want to play elim, mm matches tiers 1-3 2-4 3-5 and now you can upgrade weapons for higher damage which is not considered in mm. Upgrades were to give vets something to do with excess robits.
None of this matters though, devs gave up & have stopped developing rc, cardlife & infinity. They also admitted that crates was the only time rc made money & before you call it greed a business can't survive w/o making money.
Personally, I blame the community as much as the devs for the state the game is currently in.....life support with pulling the plug a short time away.
If you played rc for the building aspect, to build something that works after trying and experimenting a lot, this game is no longer for you.
For me atleast it is the case.
I dont think ppl would have complained about crates nearly as much if robits had been included from the get-go. i got about 70 PSKs and didnt use a single one of them. and they werent worth ♥♥♥♥ to sell without premium.
Also which part of the community? those who wanted fast-paced action play or those who wanted tactical play? or another faction that wasnt in the spotlight as often?
They were also the reason the game got simplyfied. Have you seen wings?
I was actually referring to everyone. Myself for not being critical enough, anti robocraft force for being borderline terrorist, whiny kids that cry about opening rather than learn or put in effort, devs for poor decisions.........
Or flames!
