I've seen this before on other games. Robocraft uses Google reCAPTCHA in an attempt to filter out bots registering fake accounts.
The problem is that, to do this, the web browser needs to load javascript from google.com and gstatic.com. So if you're in a country which blocks Google (as China does), you can't even see, let alone fill out, the reCAPTCHA.

Does one actually need to register on the website though? I would expect that the "Sign in with Steam ID" should work even without a separate RC account?
