The 1st 100 days is a prologue and the end of 100 days isn’t the end. The story after that is canon too. Digimon survive is different on another level. 100 line last defend academy has better combat, story, and story flowchart that digimon doesn’t have. You don’t need to start from every thing like you did in digimon.

Your first playthrough is a blind run, and then you can turn back the clock on that blind run and make more decisions than you ever have before on that second run , the second run is where the game really opens up and becomes something different , that’s where all the 100 endings are, this game tricks you into believing it’s a short game

Don't worry brother, I was disappointed by Survive as well.
I was confused by the lack of choices at first as well, but it makes sense here.
