Audio sounds muffled?

been playing through the first 7 hours and the audio on my game sounds really compressed to any other game ive played, is anybody experiencing the same issue?

I've been messing around trying to figure out why it's happening; it appears that realtek sound settings don't seem to be applying to the game; if anybody knows any way around this I would greatly appreciate it

If you have Spatial Sound on, try turning it off

Happy to report that I found the fix for this issue; it seems to be incredibly similar to an issue metaphor also had; https://steamcommunity.com/app/2679460/discussions/0/4842023333103325503/?ctp=3 downloading FXsound fixed the issue for me, must be something weird going on with recent JP releases in regards to realtek drivers I guess
