Demo coming soon on February 18th

A steam demo has been confirmed for February 18th.

The demo will go from the prologue all the way to the seventh day, save data will be transferable to the full game.

The demo will also include EN dubbing.

God I hate this game because it's making me love it so much, sigh. Thrown back right into the days of original Danganronpa with the classical array of wacky characters. Actually glad we're technically on the same side, and that all the nonsensical nonsense against a solemn backdrop is there. Rolled my eyes a bit at our man Takky making a promise defining what seems to be his character motivation for the entire game literally an hour before he's called on to keep it, but cheesy intro aside the game's great so far.

Tactical combat is easy for a TRPG vet like me but that's okay, I'm here for the VN mostly as with the Danganronpa games.

What actually feels me with hope is that they use the crazy blue chick for a ton of nods towards Danganronpa and use multiple gags to joke (negatively) about the ending of Danganronpa 3, so here's hoping that means they realize how much everyone absolutely hated them for that dumb garbage.

Yeah the twins are a bit over the top, even for the series. But I've noticed they really amped up the crude jokes lol.

They definitely didn't get standard American translators for this haha.

"Standard" huh... You say that as if Danganronpa series and Rain Code weren't also very vulgar and the majority of Japanese games are localized by Nintendo Treehouse.

You should try the demo if you've played their other games. It's way more vulgar and it comes way more quickly.

Clearly, as a fan of the series, I wouldn't have mentioned it unless it stood out. And regardless of what translation house does the localization, a lot of times they just hire native speaking freelancers/contractors, which are usually americans, and that's where the problem lies. See the current drama with Trails Through Daybreak 2.

If you're going to commend at least something worthwhile.

I think the sister is actually alright, she's been finding her brother's behavior to be cringy as hell. Unfortunate because when he doesn't talk about his sister, the guy is actually kinda neat, maybe he'll be better later on since so far only four characters has been the main focus of the first 7 days.
The most annoying one has definitely been Shouma. Not the first time we get self-deprication character like Toko, Mikan and Nagito, but these three got enough endearing traits for me to look past that(we also had Jataro, but I don't like him at all lol). But Shouma needs to start drinking that good character juice and fast, so far he is the only character I don't see much potential in.
