Error Found

I tried playing the game after leaving it for a few months and then wanted to play today, but it said there was an error. I deleted the local content and redownloaded it only to get the same thing.
It said the following:
"I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

I'm not sure what's going on here - the start label should always be present, especially if you redownloaded it. What's the directory listing of G:\Steam\steamapps\common\DateWarp\game\ ? Have you been doing any mods?

The only things I can think of that might cause this is if you have a disk error (so the file containing the start label is corrupt) or if you have an overzealous virus scanner that's decided to block access to the game files.

Hello,

I have not been doing any mods with this game. I have never had the game and ren'py visual novel maker engine opened at the same time. I just deleted and reinstalled the game on my computer, but when I clicked on the game to open through Steam I got the same error.

I completely and manually erased DateWarp from my computer and didn't just let Steam delete the content. My game is working again. Sorry for the trouble. Great game <3
