Stuck on "The End" after beating the first game from 1998
Hello, I just beated the first game and when the credits ends, the game gets stuck on the blank screen with "The end". I tried to press all buttons and couldn't skip it. I saved the game on that screen and now everytime I load the game, I'm stuck on that forever credits. If I quit the game and open it again, the game doesn't load anything and it thinks is a fresh start.

As far I read it should be an additional stage (that I wanted to play) and also I read that after the credits end, the game should restart itself, but in my case it doesn't and the music keep looping forever.

By the way, is the Spanish version of Duel Master 1998.

it's a gameboy game, you had to reset the game to continue playing.

Just restart the game from the collection menu and continue from the game's main menu. I had a bit of confusion too but I kept my card reward from winning after resetting, it's just GB jank

I think it may be a save issue more than the game itself. I only saved two times via game options menu or ("emulator save state").

1 at the beginning (with around 15 wins)
2 at "The end" screen credit after beating the last stage 5 times.

Everytime I open the game, the ingame save is the first save because on record it shows that I just have 15 wins. If I load the game from the option game's menu, it goes at the "The end" screen, but if I quit game and open it again, it says again I have 15 wins. Like it doesn't update the game save with the "save state" game option thing so it may desync.

My theory is that the game thinks that the last ingame save (or the last time the save icon appeared in game) is when I beated bakura at start.

When I load the game via option save state, it goes to the credit screen, but since there is no ingame autosave on that screen it doesn't overwrite the ingame save and I can't do anything on that screen but quit and open the game again, but again, since I can't overwrite ingame save, I'm on a loop where I'm on 1 save and can't rewrite it.

I don't know if I messed something up or I should never have saved on the credit screen, but I can't make it work. Anyway I think I should had save more often. I will try to be more careful next games and if I feel for it, I will try to beat this one again from scratch.

Same problem here. Beaten Pegasus 5 times and then I can't continue whatever I do.

I hope this get fixed, because I really liked to 100% this game.
Exact same problem here. I beat the game, and when I try to restart it to access the true final battle it loads a far earlier save from just after I unlocked Duelist Kingdom rather than the one where I beat Pegasus.
