Are they gonna give an update about the online games?
We know the switch version guys that got it early saw that only Duel Monsters 4 is avalaible for online

According to the description (Select titles will also be updated to support online play after release.)

Will they instantly update the online catalog as soon as its released for steam?

Cuz if people needs to wait weeks or months for that then its gonna be DOA

The only game right now it has 2 online options 'quick match' and 'invite'

So the invite option would work like a master duel room of 2 players
We didn't need to wait until the early people got theirs, the store page has always said DM4 will be the only one with online at launch and that "select titles will be updated to support online play after release"!

No clue when "after release" is, I imagine it'll be at least a week or two, but who knows? Maybe it's the day after, lol!

If the game has lots of players it could even get extra ones months down the line or something, no way to know for now, but fingers crossed your favs are the ones that get online!

I'm really hoping for Dungeon Dice Monsters online, that'd be so fun man!

My suspicion is that the physical Switch version is to blame, because the game had to be finalized for it to be manufactured. The other games' online support could literally be patched right at release day, or it could take longer, Konami just leaves it open.

If 2004 and 2005 have online play I would like to have the game on steam, but if they don't then I want to get it on my switch for on the go. Sucks they are not giving proper details.

That’s really my biggest problem with the collection as a whole.
I'd guess that they'd give online to Tournament 2005 and Dungeon Dice Monsters. Maybe, Destiny Board Traveller as well. My thoughts being they'll probably want to include the most fully featured version of each gameplay style instead of splitting the userbase more.
As someone who plans on getting both the Switch and Steam versions, I'd probably add online for Eternal Duelist Soul, World Championship 2005, Dungeon Dice Monsters, & Destiny Board Traveler. Also for those who want to play manga rules, the og Yugioh game.
