Monster Rancher series got around the disc requirement, companies can always find a way to code those things to work a diff way or add those cards to drop pools. If FM ever came to PC then there'd also likely be a resurgence in the modding community as well.

If in DM4 you needed to trade with the other versions to get all the God Cards, in this compilation they might fix that by adding an tweak option like the removing the deck cost, etc.
In future releases maybe the use of Pocketstation cards will be fixed with a similar option or allowing buying the cards with the original password.
