I was looking for that one specifically and yup, it's in here. Nice!

DDM and Capsule Monsters are the biggest inclusions I wanted to see. Destiny Board traveller would need a multiplayer update with matchmaking in order to be enjoyable.

LETS GOOOOOOOOO! lol Admittedly loved this game but I remember never having beaten one or two opponents I couldn't find so time to correct that mistake!
I still have my working cartridge lol
This game sure is awesome.
out of the games that were on my I hope they are in here list. Dungeon dice Monsters was the only one that made it. But I am *really* glad it did. If this sells well enough they might do a part 2 that includes more titles.
Child me was actually more intrigued by Dungeon Dice Monsters than the Master Duel format, but the game was sadly doomed by being limited to a filler arc in the anime, and by how complex the game was to setup in person. I imagine child me would've been thrilled to try the GBA game had I known it was a thing and found a copy back then.

Like many games, it did have it's shortcomings. There's only 124 dice in the game (114 monsters, 10 items), with an extra 77 monsters in the code that went unfinished. And a sizeable chunk of these dice are weak beyond the early game where you have to make do with whatever the game gives you. The AI was also quite dumb and often "forgot" to trigger their monsters effects.

On the other hand, there were several ways to build a winning pool of dice, and at least one group in the past was able to create a solid metagame with house rules. This meta is documented on the DDM game board of GameFAQ's, and it orbits around dragon pools that use Lord of D to gain invincibility and create a fortress, but there were enough outs for other strategies to survive and thrive.

I'm looking forward to seeing DDM get a second chance. Maybe this can generate enough interest for a mod or a re-release that adds the dummied out monsters back in, and/or retrains weaker dice to have effects that make them viable.

God it would be while if this collection causes DDM to become popular enough for Konami to care about it again
I hope to see tournaments or ad least a discord

So, will it have online play? That could lead to quite some popularity for the game.
Also, I've read there are several unused monsters in the data. Any chance of undummying them, even if it's as DLC?

At launch, no, it will just be Duel Monsters 4, but they did mention that “select titles will be updated to support online play after release”. I can see certain titles unfortunately being excluded, but I would love for all of them to have online play.
This game needed so much more work. A broken AI that doesn't play the game, effects that don't work, dozens of unimplemented units, units that are mysteriously lacking their effects, and a lack of a stalemate detection that allows the game to become soft-locked. They don't even have a no-duplicates rule implemented, which is essential for a game with so few units per deck.

It's a shame that none of this will ever get addressed.

the actual good capmon game was a ps2 game though. that one isn't here. ;_;, wish they included the other DM titles like fbk/fm/dotr/capmon(ps2)
