Game keeps minimizing itself.
I play this game on a laptop, and it seems anytime I go from battery to AC adaptor or the other way around this game just starts going crazy and minizimg itself at random until I restart Steam.

Pretty much it seems like when I unplug or plug in the AC adapter it minimizes and then it goes crazy and keeps doing it at random until I restart. Can't find any setting that could cause it.

This is the only game that does this as well. Nothing else on my computer randomly minimizes when power source is changed.

Edit: Seems that isn't the only cause, kept it on just AC power and eventually it started happening.again. And it's not like I'm clicking outside the screen and accidentally bringing another window to focus, majority of the time it happens while I'm trying to make a move and I end up clicking something in that area on the window behind the game.

Frankly, your laptop is not powerful enough.
Usually you can solve the problem by upgrading your laptop.
Can you please tell us specifics of your laptop?
Key is to meet minimal requirements.
You can find them at the page of the game in Steam Store.
Overly low specifications will result in bad performance, such as yours.
Update me with new information as soon as possible so i can assist you with this issue.

Nice assumption without specs there.

But yeah, sure specs:

Intel Core i5-4200 CPU @ 2.50 Ghz processor.
8GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 BIt processor
193GB of free space on my hard drive.

So care to take back your silly assumption that my laptop must suck? Sheesh, even the 3 year old laptop this one replaced could play this game.

With power adapter IN all is ok?

Nope, it acts funky either way. Even if I don't swap the power source it seems to still do it eventually, that just seems to bring it on faster.

Though it has seemed to have improved since Steam updated itself today, haven't had it do a thing since that update, so maybe it was the Steam client itself being wonky.

I've got the exact same problem with the game constantly minimizing. Unable to play. Worse, the game doesn't easily close even from the taskmanager. I've never had any game do this before but since this issue is still happening after several months of prior reports, it would appear the developers don't much care to fix it. What a shame. :exclamation:

Update: 5.13.15

Just reloaded the game on my Win 7 computer and it is running albeit slightly laggy. Finally I can get the achievements! Thanks developers.

Windows 10 here on a Surface Pro 3 i7. Happening to me - associated with AC charging / AC removal - but not limited to it. Very annoying.

Happened to me on a Surface Pro 3 too. Uninstalling local content and reinstalling didn't help, nor did rebooting. It constantly minimizes, and seems to be stuck ib Pause.
