Download a program called EHM Assistant. With that you can change the salary cap to 999 mil, which is essentially the same as turning it off.

Okay yes, but all the pages come up blank when I import my current save...the only guide I found is for a version of the editor that looks a lot different. How do I display and edit data after opening a saved game?

Weird. If I recall correcty, you just reload your game and then fire up the EHM assistant program and as you load that it should sync with your save game data. Are you sure you're not using the EHM Editor program? Because the one that I mean is called EHM Assistant.

I am using EHM Editor but when I open the game data, most of the pages appear blank. It tells me online to click a big button saying display all with an icon but that is an old version of the Editor and the current one has different tabs up top and stuff.

Here are some instructions:

1. Load EHM and load your saved game.
2. Load the Assistant and click on File -> Load Game. The Assistant will now start reading all of the game data from the RAM.
3. Once all of the data has finished load, you'll find that each screen in the Assistant is blank. To display data on a screen you can do one of two things:
3a. Click on the Display All button to list all data; and/or
3b. Click on the Filter and use it to select what data you want to see.
4. To edit data, double-click on the item in the list and then you'll see that you can edit values, etc.

When you open up say a "saved game". You can then go to "clubs" (choice bar along top). Then look down the left hand side for you club. Once you start looking around at contracts and finances of your club you will see the line for salary cap. Once you change it, that should change the limit for all teams teams in your league.
