Multiplayer
2017 and we still need to open ports in our routers to play multiplayer. How hard can it be to implement Steam multiplayer in to game?

What do you mean by steam multiplayer? The game is barely supported, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Just open the one port needed and play with your friends. If you need help let me know, I run an online league.

What do I mean by Steam multiplayer? Umm, how about like with EVERY other game? You can just connect to the game from your friends list.
Tried opening ports every which way, didn't work. Checked the forums and what not. No luck.

I don't work for the company you putz. I've run network games for a decade and could have helped you get it set up.

Yeah, got that. Putz or nuts. Still feel a bit sad that they're missing out on the potential. Steam has been around for quite a while and Steam mutliplayer with FM also. Can it really be so hard to implement?

Oh probably not. SI has proven they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about multiplayer in EHM though. Christ, if you play in multiple leagues you have to re-type the ip every time you switch leagues. It's brutal. And then there's the initial launch where the host has to bring the game up, then another game client has to log-in as everybody else just to get it up and running. They only released the new ehm to shut people up.

Hello, I'm looking to set up a multiplayer for EHM to play with my friends while we're both online at our own homes. When you have a chance, could you help me out with the setup. Also note that I haven't opened up any ports as I'm not exactly sure how to. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The port is 10095. Just open that and you should be good to go.
