Prologue might be a chapter in the Pendulum Wars.

Awesome to see Marcus struggle with what must be his first Locust kill.

Also probably going to start with the retro lancer and have a whole bit where they show how the chainsaw gun came to be.

I wish this would never continue. Honestly, I didn't even want Gears 4, I think the OG trilogy was a complete story with a grand finale. But I think they'll continue this sooner or later, it’s just that after the mid Gears 5 they needed a time out to figure out the reasons for what went wrong.

Cliff has been a prick to pc gamers since he moved to console gaming at the start of Gears development and has since then become irrelevant in the gaming industry. His last game was a massive failure and instead of admitting failure he instead blamed politics and gender neutral bathrooms.

i expected it to be gears 6 with kaits story. since 5 ended with a cliffhanger. but yes i know people were not that fond of 4 and 5 but i persoanyll had a lot of fun but i simply love coalition as devs, unreal engines masters i would play anything from them. so win win. gears 5 still looks insane for its age and runs like butter, hell even gears 4 still looks okay.

Cliff Bleszinski is trying to crawl out of his failed projects to get some light out of the great trailer to increase his relevance in the game industry again. He is the reason who denied PC gamers of Gears of War 2 saying every PC gamer is a pirate. So don't give that man any importance/relevance.
