I could definitely see them doing this after E Day because of the timeline of events for the story. I do think it will happen. Easy money maker and it would open Gears up to more players. I would not want to play 4&5 if I had never gotten the opportunity to play the original trilogy personally.

There is an remastered version of Gears 1 on microsoft store called Gears of War ultimate collection.
But yeah, i would love to have a remastered collection of Gears 1-3 + Judgment

OH yeah Gears Ultimate which is less functional on modern Windows than the original, its online is less reliable today than GFWL in the original.
I don't want remasters for any old games honestly, just port it, only add the bare necessities to make it work but I guess then its harder to justify charging over full price for something nobody asked for in the first place.
