Personal question about classes
Hello there, I used to casually play this game when I was younger and now I'm thrilled to hear it's having a comeback, can't wait to play. Having said that, I'd like this time to actually play it like a multiplayer game instead of solo-ing it for as much as I can, to do so, I'll force myself to pick up a more support-oriented class (or else it seems unlikely that I'd interact with other players knowing myself) and wolud like to know which classes would be better fit to do this. Any help or suggestion would be good, have a nice day everyone :^)

Cleric is the iconic support (heals, buff, controls)
Necromancer (debuffs, controls)

Even stuff like (Paladin) is fun.. Gives you small heals, great defense (tank), lots of buffs, etc, and decent attack.. Fun class to play (I've only reached level 72 or 73 Templar)

You could also go the route of being a Druid. You get 3 animal forms and of course your human form. Wolf does DPS, Gorilla does Tanking, Bird does Magical DPS and minor healing, and of course Human form does the most healing and can apply speed buffs, mana buffs and others. This is gonna be the route I go again since I started this game loving that class and I maxed out my druid...after 10+ years of playing the game. But yea whenever you have free time check out the Wiki or do some general searches on the web and you can find out a lot about any of the Support Oriented Classes

I wanted to play necromancer but didn't know it's considered a support. Can they do enough damage to solo stuff?

in the releasenotes is written that the life leech was removed from the game, so i think that makes Necromancer less a support class.
Best support option is the cleric/prophet or the druid/mystic. About the new ninja class i dont know if they have usefull supportskills. and i dont know if they also release mercenaries and travelers direct from start
