controller help??

does anyone know why when i go to settings with my controller the game crashes but when i do it on mouse it works fine? it was working fine yesterday but now crashes after i restored the default universe. Any help?

Does it display the MDickie logo just before it crashes?

just shows the Hard time 3 logo for a second then crashes

Dumb question, but does it still happen if you press other buttons on your controller?

no only when i try to start the game or go into settings when i enter the game through my mouse it lets me join on multiplayer and works fine

Then could it be that you're pressing the Back button on your controller to exit out of the game? Press C while in the main menu to enter the calibration screen, there you will be able to change the Back button
