Guilds don't matter as it really boils down to three choices as there are two "alliances" that 90% (not a real statistic-figure of speech but accurate) of them fall under (most of them won't tell you till you find yourself in a predicament such as getting scammed or your kills getting stolen (common occurrence- scammers are welcome if they get the alliance the world bosses/funds- or they switch sides), You can say no to that and stay a 10%er (again-not real figure but close enough) and have very limited gameplay that may or may not include harassment from guilds that are part of said alliances. Too much plotting and double-crossing from the basement dwellers. That is on top of the already limited gameplay leading up to the 135 cap and the upcoming new cap because of the cash-shop incentivized(sugar coat) balance. Unless you've invested thousands of hours/gotten lucky farming orrrrrr forked over a decent amount of cash like lukja did (still not getting very far) before he quit, you're hard-pressed unless you kiss an alliance's behind and slave/get used (they might turn around and say you used them instead-cognitive dissonance is commonplace).
Did I mention that banning criteria are so horrible that people are fearless? You can do anything till you get reported by enough people (rare that people send in tickets anyway so it's the wild west till a GM logs and catches them and jails em for a bit). Did I also mention that Kill stealing is now allowed? As long as you're not "harassing"? Scams/KS galore by the alliances, even their own people. Your best bet is to stay at the lower levels (There's still some of that fiesta magic from the good o'l days that stops at about lv 70-best perm lv is 50) and socialize but even then there are the drama queens in elderine so that doesn't help, always finding an issue with someone cause they're bored and always spreading rumors, not to mention fighting over their online relationships. It's alive but is it worth playing? Forum dwellers/gamigo staff have complained
Are you willing to add unnecessary stress to your life and most likely starting from lv 1 again? I did it - A real 2020-mid 2021 take on Fiesta Online. Played during the pandemic till now-3 capped characters. Play at your own risk. Don't share your account information with anyone under any circumstances, and trust nobody even if they are seemingly investing in you. -----------------TLDR: What Lukja said
