I'd buy DL2 when it goes on sale. It's still an excellent game.

Dying Light 2 is good for one playthrough, co-op breaks all balance and you'll run right through all the bosses.
I still recommend even Dead Island 1 after all this time if you find lobbies still up.

I'd get it on sale. Too many people that LOVED the first one think the second one is average at best. I mean it IS more of the same, I just felt that everything was a step down and I just couldn't stick with it even though I REALLY tried a few times because I loved DL1 so much.
So sale to be safe imo.

Oh! Get the DLC for DL1 first if you don't have it, the go-cart one.
