Controls...

Wow are the controls ever frustrating. Using the mouse I figured the distance you pull back the cue would be like your visual meter to how hard you're going to hit the ball... nooo i think its also the speed at which you move your mouse forward. This is just horrible.

Also when your cue has to lay over a bumper for a shot, why does it have to be viewed from an angle? For christ sake in real life you realign your view. Its called leaning. So now im stuck trying to make a straight shot with the cue on an angle? Nothing looks staight that way, and you can't even get used to it. And no I'm not turning on that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shot assist overlay. Thats not how you play pool.

This game is practically UNPLAYABLE, if you prefer keyboard and mouse.

Use gamepad if you have.

I do have an Xbox controller, but it isn't better than keyboard and mouse was on their own previous Pool Nation. I can actually live with using the controllers, however im actually more annoyed by the viewing angle of the cue when its placed over a bumper. The cue should remain straight center from the camera no matter what.

For me playing with controller is better than keyboard+mouse and also I like it. But this is your opinion.

XBox controller is perfect. I wouldn't change anything about it. Use XBox controller.

I agree the keyboard and mouse controls are horrible. A real shame as there is no excuse for it. No need to try and re-invent the wheel, Virtual Pool already shows how it's done.

I agree the controls are messed up. I just received this game as a gift but why do you say that Pool Nation is from the same dev? They are from 2 different companies.

You are correct. Somehow I got it in my head they were from the same dev. Makes sense now since there are no similarities between the games what so ever, other than the obvious. Goes to show those logos they force you to watch don't do squat, you become numb to them.
