Basically it controls like a FPS (wsad + mouse) only that you place stuff instead of shhoting.
You might be abe to contol it with only a mouse by binding enough actions to buttons but I don't think it will work well.
I do actually also have some software that works through an Xbox connect so that I am able to operate games using facial expressions. It works reasonably well, but is a little clumsy, and can be frustrating.
For me, it's just weighing up whether the enjoyment I might get out of the game is worth the inconvenience of playing it through a less than ideal interface.
At least now with Steam's new returns policy I can probably give it a quick go (setting up my Kinect camera to correspond with game controls) and see if I like it in under two hours...
I am sorry to hear of your disability man, but I hope the Stinkyboard can help you play most games by using it instead of WASD.
To be honest, my Xbox Kinnect camera works pretty well. I use it to play Guild Wars 2, and in conjunction with the mouse, it is more than capable of helping me play this game. However, on this occasion, I have missed the sale offer, so will just keep it on my wish list for now :-)
