Because you have to leave that one block, the only way to solve this is with drills that get pushed in but then roll backwards (via conveyers), however the pushers refuse to push the drills forward (they are activated, just not pushing). Is this a known bug? My game is up to date
Confirmed - Pushers cant move eviscerators.
However if you make a free-floating drill which falls into the same position, that CAN be pushed by the pusher.

Basically, it definitely is possible, but remember that if something like an eviscerator is attatched to something else first, that will override the pusher, which includes platforms, pipes, parts of the level, etc.
So, to start with, you can potentially have one pusher pushing dozens of eviscerators. In your first screenshot, the presence of that platform block is screwing things up.
Free floating blocks is clever, but it's not nescessary to get them to attach to a pusher.
Err, I'm not sure I get what you mean by 'move around.' If the eviscerator (or group of eviscerators) is welded to a pusher and nothing else, it will definitely move around, that is extend and retract, when the pusher is activated.

(although I found another solution)

And miss out on drills on extendable arms?
Are you mad, sir? MAD!?
If there is any possibility of extendable arms with drills on, you should take it. Rule of cool, innit?
Push them all day long, just dont have them placed next to a stationary block.
