I find that feature annoying because I first discovered it when I *wanted* it to be blockable. I was hoping to be able to push a plunger block in the way of a blower to block its effect. I find this feature detrimental more often than it's useful.
I feel very much at the elementary level when it comes to the types of circuits one can make in this game. I hope you know I looked at your video several times and found it very helpful. The 'both' circuit was great, and I used it several times in the final few maps. The flip-flop circuit is less useful once you have the counter block, but it would have been invaluable had I known about it in some of the earlier maps.
- Welders can me moved into position and will automatically connect with other welders making it much easier to get tricky parts that need to be welded into position first and/or then move the completed part out afterwards.
- Rotating always takes 1 cycle, reguardless of how large the object being rotated is. This allows you to save a heap of time moving something large around, if your object is 10 blocks long then with the right setup you can move it diagonally 10 blocks along the X axis and another 10 along the Z axis (assuming Z is vertical) in just 2 cycles using two rotators.
Both of these tips really helped in my solution to the Nav computer puzzle: http://i.imgur.com/8J0m1l1.gif
I wonder: could you attach something to the top of that upside down coveyer and move it too?
Edit: also are specific designs allowed (ex: something that moves an object after its rotated without having to be pushed from behind)
Still kicking!
To answer your question: my original intent of the thread was a place for players to learn techniques to help them solve puzzles in the game. So, glitches and bugs weren't originally part of that. In terms of 'allowed', well, allowed by who? The reddit community records high scores for the game, and glitches/bugs get their own seperate category.
However, I don't see why you can't post any glitches you've found here.
edit: turned impossible into unbeatable
