Stats to pass every check?
I wonder if people have played this thoroughly enough to be able to answer this...

I'd like a build that lets me pass every dialog check (not necessarily have every etiquette, but be able to get every outcome, shortcut, extra money, etc.), open every secret door, break through every wall needed in the game. Obviously such a character would be super gimped in combat - that is OK.

What would be my starting stats and what would I need to pump with karma?

This is not the answer you are looking for, I guess:
That's not possible in a single game without reloading because several outcomes are mutually exclusive.

This is pretty impossible. What you could do, though, is shoot for a high charisma out the gate, to get multiple ettiquettes. Maybe start as an Elf Adept?

You'll want to be a decker first of all. That will help you hit every decking option, which is a must. But it will also give you enough intelligence that it will be easy to get some Biotech. Having between 3-5 Bio will get you lots of dialogue. No need to go higher, and being able to see health in the matrix makes your life easier there too.

My decker was also a melee guy, which let him meet a few strength checks in the story. Don't think you need higher than a 4 for those.

You'll probably want to try and get at least a 6 Charisma. If you don't really care about Ettiquettes, then you could squeeze by with a 4 and use Charisma enhancing gear/bioware to help you meet some checks. But personally I build up to a natural 6.

Willpower does have a few checks in the story, but none particularly critical.

I saw a 6 STR check just now (busting open some door) but it may not have been necessary.

Yeah, I get things are mutually exclusive. My goal would be to be able to pass a check at every opportunity rather than having to take the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ road, not getting paid extra, not opening that safe, etc.

Check my guide for (most of) the skill checks the game will throw at you and set your stats accordingly:

Indeed. Take Eiger there with you and "let your muscle do it" option. :) And if it's the Doc's mission, there're 2 more ways around the door (decking and disposed waste). I think the highest dialogue str check is 6 too, but it can alternatively be done with charisma. The single most important etiquette gotta be security.
