Tips for Eagle Shaman
Starting my first playthrough as a shaman and I would appreciate some tips on a good build.

Is this your very first playthrough or only first as shaman? Also any aspects that must be your way (=fixed no matter what) e.g. race, difficulty lvl?

First as a shaman, played Samurai before. Character is a human and the difficulty is normal.

Eagle is amazing for riggers. The only +accuracy buff that works on drones.

It leaves you very vulrnable to granedes, but you can even use two attack drones, bunch up with them and just unleash a pin-point accurate barrage every fight.

I wouldn't recommend that playstyle for a first time player, though. Its very micro-manage, karma and money intensive. Scary as heck combo if you get it right, though.

I played shamans mostly as pure support role (no offensive spell beside Acid-whatever unless you count Barrier or armor stripping as offensive) and that worked even on hard. It's good idea if totem buff helpful for your own character because with radius of 3 you rarely have much of team in range except at beginning of fights (or you'll get naded). So with eagle I'd include an offensive component to your build be it a ranged weapon, mage attack spells, drones, whatever. Especially if +15% stacks with Aim spell (does anyone know whether it does?). Other thing you need to decide with that shaman is how much you want to summon (pushing Spirit Control + Summoning can eat up lots of karma) vs combo with something else (rigger, decker, weapon, mage..). I think on normal you can play entire game without summoning a single spirit.

I was planning on something similar to what you suggested for the range combat gonna do that. Thanks guys I appreciate it. :)

If you want to stay with a pure summoner/conjurer Eagle isn't the best choice, but a rifle wielder with just enough Karma into summoning to get the Eagle totem would be perfect.

Good to know thank you. :)
