Cyberware / Bioware Not Counting When Raising Stats
So I read a thread about Bioware / Cyberware not raising stats beyond maximum, by this is a little ridiculous. I spent most of the game without either, but towards the end decided to load up on quickness augmentations so I could easily max my ranged combat. Come to find out that although my character sheet now reads 9 Quickness, when I go to spend Karma it's as if I still have 6 quickness. Can't raise my ranged combat or rifle ability. WTF??

Yes. can only raise skills to the attribute level, not the cybered one.

But you count as having 9 Quickness for dodging and hit %s.

I think this is intentional. It would "save" you too much karma if related skills used the augmented values as their limits. Also tricky mechanics wise e.g. if you keep changing your bioware should you "forget" ranged combat later if you switch to non-quickness augments and get back or lose karma points invested? You do get benefit from higher stat values so implants still tend to be worthwhile to have.
