The vita was a bit ahead of it's time, being able to stream your console games onto the device, and as well as being touchscreen and having a back touchpad, gyroscopes, and accellerometer, the thing was loaded with features and the only thing holding it back was Sony, people even won a class action lawsuit because they bought a vita and i forgot why but it was about $25 to people involved. If you have a Vita look up how you can get Homebrew on it, I did it to mine and it was pretty easy, some games were online only type games and servers are shut down (Highschool DxD game) but games like Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice is still playable, even the better version of it.
If Freedom Wars is successful here on Steam I expect a Freedom Wars 2 to follow just like God Eater 3, I bought GE:Re and GE2 and I hope the camera is not like GE:Re because it was not optimized well for PC.
I'm still holding out hope for a new God Eater. I need it.
I don't think Bandai Namco would bother to deal with Sony to get the rights if they couldn't turn it into some type of franchise.
Personally I expect FW2 to be 'announced' sooner than most people think.
It is the 15th anniversary this year, I believe!
If it does well, then perhaps they'll invest in a sequel.
