He licensed the IP off of Sony and shopped it around to publishers, where it was picked up by Bamco. There's no point investing in a sequel to a PS Vita exclusive that's what 10 years old without re-introducing people to the game/series first. Plus people have wanted this forever.
Sony has nothing to do with it other than allowing the director to license the IP.
If we also have Soul Sacrifice Delta remaked i would be VERY VERY HAPPY!
that's u rn op. go clean your room
This, he is making this remaster and depending on how well it does and such the director was said they would like to make a sequel, so if you want more of a chance of a sequel get as many people to buy it as you can. Like the person I replied to has said, they wanna introduce new people to the series and see if the old fans are still around.
I'm doing my part, have you?
I'm getting a friend to buy this to play with me, and he might be getting other people he knows as well.
This was one of my fave PS vita games, I used to play it on my HDTV via the PS TV thing using a playstation 2 controller. I was extremly happy when this was announced as I been wanting a remake or remaster of this for so long. I don't even care if it had the same graphics tbh, ps vita games can look as good as ps3 games, and this was one of the ones that did.
Have any of you looked into why the ps vita failed? its a story of the system just being too powerful for what it was. Games cost alot to make on it as pretty graphics cost money, and the games had the pricepoint of a portable game, the ps vita lacked games because making a game for it was very expensive, and many studio's literally could not afford the cost to take a risk on it. Resulting in a lack of games, then lack of people buying the console which results in less devs being intersted etc, till it basically spiraled to the point sony just killed it off at least in the west, the ps vita was still alive for almost a decade in japan after the western version of the console died off.
Nintendo switch games for example don't even look as good as ps vita games can, and yet they are charging full game price for those, and those would be very cheap to make using todays tech so nintendo is making a killing on the console.
go outside.
