Frame spikes every 2-3 seconds on Steam Deck (check the graph)

Pull up a frame rate graph (super easy to do on the Steam Deck) and you'll notice that the game spikes every 2-3 seconds without fail. It's at the exact same rhythm, as if it's some sort of check happening every so often that causes frames to spike.

Before you get in here and say "it works great for me, no issues" (cause there is always that one person)...I suggest especially if you have a steam deck, pull open the performance overlay to the big version that has the graph and see what I mean. You may not be sensitive to it, but I am and it makes for a clunky presentation when the game otherwise runs at high frame rates.

Not sure if it does it on regular PCs too but it's besides the point--this game was/would have been perfect for the Deck. It's just got too many questionable decisions (no cross play, no changing of accessory language, mispronounced english words, crashes at the end of a mission causing loss of progress, etc.)
