Leave a negative review until they change that, because at these player amounts it's going to severely hurt online.
Any sources to back up that claim?
I have been playing with people outside my region.
Maybe continent restricted or something but not steam region.
Anecdotal only, but as an Australian I'd found one single room since launch. I changed to a US download server earlier today and while there's not a ton of games, it shows a few and I was able to play with people finally. It specifically said in the search that the hosts were in NA
Anyone who has to disable EAC with the rename fix can't play coop(and other online content) either.
Other people went straight for a refund or decided not to buy it.
So the remaining mp player base is pretty low.
If they removed EAC maybe more people would play online, the real cheaters can bypass EAC and play online anyways, just look at the leaderboards for proof.

Huh. That’s silly to say the least.
I get people who disabled EAC to avoid the game crashes can’t go online, but just for renaming the text files?
Will remember to undo that when I decide to hop online.
