PC controls makes the game too difficult
as an older gamer, the PC controls make the game a bit more difficult to maneuver which means I lose more often then not. As far as I can see that also means I replay the same content over and over and over again with no advancement at all.

I'm not saying its not fun but it does mean it will also get boring fast seeing the same race goals over and over and over and over.

Where is the selection? Atleast with the original Road Rage even someone with really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coordination had a better chance to win and actually advanced in bike selection.

Please dont make me sorry i bought this game. it looks promising but its actually more difficult thant it needs to be in the beginning CAMPAIGN tracks.

You can buy level skips. You can also play the quickrace mode where you don't have to restart.

quickreace defeats thge purpose of playing the campaign, i guess i should have mentioned that.

what do you mean level skips? for real cash?

When you say PC Controls, do you mean you're using the keyboard?

yes

"level skips" are available on the skill tree that comes up after you die where you can spend the XP you earned on that campaign run. The campaign is supposed to kick your @ss until you have a few of those skills under your belt. I recommend:

1. Max out the "extra XP" skill
2. Max out the cash find, health, and attack damage skills
3. Unlock the top-tier skills by buying at least one rank of every other skill in the tree
- This doesn't take long, as after you follow steps 1 and 2 you'll be getting ~3,000 XP per run
4. Buy them sexy top-tier skills
5. Profit

Hi.

When I loaded the game and tried to use my ps4 controller it wouldnt work. It lets me move up and down but I cant set up the controller to work for the controller controls.

Anyone know why this is happening and/or how to fix it?!!

Thanks for any help.

A. I suck enough I cant earn enough XP to gain a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skill since XP disappears.
B this is pointless since you assume I can actually play the game decently, I am not some smartass kid that cant figure this out. I am an older gamer with effin arthritis so arcade style games are hard to play. regardless of control media. Thank for your oh so valuable input.

I obviously came across as sarcastic, promise that was not my intent. I thought you were posting looking for some tips, so decided to provide.

For the arthritis, my only suggestion might be to try out a gamepad; I have an RSI in my left hand so me and keyboard controls don't get along for extended periods of time, but I have no issues with a gamepad (I use a Dualshock 4, the controller for the PS4). You might find the controls a little easier to learn on gamepad too :)

appreciate your honesty. Sadly, I cant hold a game pad, several fingers dont bend the right way enough.

Ah, that sucks! Well, best of luck figuring it out, and if they ever add co-op multiplayer for the campaign shoot me a friend request and we'll have a go!

will do, MP in this game would work well as long as its kept simple.
