No the games are based on the anime and because of gameplay reasons, some events and elements are vastly different.

Such as in this game, most of the cast is together for many of the villians of the arc as they are fought where as in the manga/anime it was a couple characters facing off against some villian.

In game there are characters who never even saw each other before interact.

This question is just outright, not to be rude...but pretty damn wild.

Anime games are "adaptive" not "absolute" to the material they come from.

If you play the games...but dont watch the anime...you will be missing quite a lot especially because many characters are only mentioned, not shown.

The games are filled with content from the manga/anime that also are references, in jokes, allusions to other media, etc from across the series.

Its not a game for everyone nor a series. Its not like just "pick up and play" DBZ or One Piece type anime stuff.

Nothing is saying you cannot play the game...but again this game in particular is based on the finale arc of the main fairy tail series...which beyond all reasons is not something that you can just get into and understand what is occuring...you will ask more questions as to why is this or that guy doing this or that...and not know the longer history of why things are going where they are in game.

If you never watched or read the series...I cannot recommend it, this is actively a game for the fans and/or those who enjoy the series or series and RPGs in general, but knowledge of the series having read it for better or worse, is practically a necessity in a case like this.
