Beware: the game is censored.

With the preorders opening today I want to warn potential buyers that the game is censored.

According to the official videos published by KT, multiple costumes are censored with black mist or with added fabric. Like with Lucy's multiple outfits. The classic, for example, has black smoke censorship and the green outfit has additional fabric to cover her thighs. All other skirts are censored.

With how much expensive the game is, especially with the added DLC, I thought that costumers are entitled to know about that. It's a scum tactic that even the DLC outfits that you pay for are censored.

I'm personally boycotting the game knowing that all these changes are self-imposed by KT itself. Because games like The Legend of Heroes, and potentially the upcoming EDENS ZERO, have non censored similar outfits.

Another reminder that KT added a day 1 censorship patch to the first game despite official promises to release the game uncensored. So even if this censorship doesn't bother you, KT may apply additional censorship day 1. Please be wary and wait, at least a couple of days after release, before buying.

You are aware that the developers themselves added it in the first one and it only got removed because some woke localizers started crying about it.

In general censorship starts small but in the anime/manga world it is expanding fast to the point even LN or manga are altered because of their content. People used to say it was something minor when the first examples of censorship started, but now they are even pre-emptifly censoring games because of the "Modern Audience" delusions.

Right now we have Japaense text censored because they use two gendered speech. even traditional gender roles that don't fit the western delusions to the point of just censoring ecchi style humor in case a woman got offended.

Even Japanese devs have complained about the forced western censorship because apparently western fans can't cope with Japanese culture.

Also why worry if these people don't buy the game because of it? Why do people like you worry if other do or don't buy this game regardless if this is the reason?

One thing you can be assured of, if we keep censoring games in any sense you'll have a pretty generic and stagnent market in the future when it comes down to content. Because you'll never know what will upset this "Modern audience" next time,

What I've been seeing in "modern audience" media from the "west" is stories where everyone is in multiple non-straight relationships and the heroes are black, asian, or both but have never set foot on the related continents.

That's what the people complain about outside the japanophile community (no offense intended).

You are aware that says nothing. They released the first game also as uncensored and after day1 they pushed a censorship patch on the game.

They did the same with Blue Reflections if i recall.

The biggest question in general would be how much did they butcher during development seeing as that is now required.

Why should we reward a company that let's its localizers or even translators decide what you are and aren't allowed to enjoy? Why demand somebody fix their censorship for free?

I would advise people to wait till the game is dirty cheap. It's about time company's started listening to the consumer and not some unknown loser that's behind the scenes pretending to be the representative of all anime fans.

A big selling point of Fairy Tail is its ecchi fanservice, so yes. And it is no business of people like you what we people want to enjoy.
And I refuse to give money to game companies who hate gamers.

Please explain then why anime games need to be forced to censor their content? Why does the dialogue now push gender ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or even why do Japanese devs need to self censor because people like you seem to need that or else you won't excuse it as the typical "just to look at the girls' skirt?" Please do explain why we need more censorship in the anime industry in general?

Seeing as with buying the game you're basically saying they could cut whole parts out that trigger the localzers which they aleardy done with some Light novels because localizer couldn't cope with the content.

Even during the latest bleach series they cut a comedy scene with Orihime Inoue which even the animator was disappointing that it wasen't included. It tuned some content was cut because people like you can't seem to cope with it. Even dialogue was ommited because of its sexual undertones.

This is why people would rather pirate manga than pay for it so some adult child behind the scene can inject his politics or remove content that triggers him in general.

What will people like you want to do next in case people want to see ecchi style content? remove it out of every manga because people like you might not be able to cope with that content in general?

There should be no censorship in anime because of a handful of adult children can't cope with a Japanese product. Don't like the ecchi elements i would say they should get a different hobby.
