Yes, we all get that code. It expires in 5 days.

1. Be in-game
2. Click on the icon on the right top of the screen, next to the Menu button.
3. Merchant Guild pops up.
4. Click on the redeem code tab and paste the code into the box.

Nope. They give out free one-time use codes on Facebook on occasion but I don't think those are ever for gold.

there was one for 250 gold but this was in late July.
