Easy Ways To Get Resources?

I really need more stone and would like it quicker than having to wait 'x' amount of minutes/hours for it to be mined. Is there a quicker way to do this?

Yeah, you can buy them with gold.

for new players like me who dont have much time to play the game for around half the day the resource gathering style is very inneficient this is because instead of having auto collect its a manual collect if in a later update there could be auto collecting it would be much better

Yep it's crazy to sit on game whole day just to collect resources...

lol all you need to do is just log in a few times a day collect resoruces then bugger off again its extremely easy and quick

Until recently I didn't even have any quarries. I used more efficient methods of gathering other resources, which I then traded (at a 70% trade rate) for stone. I began filling all the spots on the map that I don't use with lvl 3 quarries now tho, which also helps alot.

I have a couple of mines at the border of the map. I first thought thats actually a bad place because you cannot lower the terrain there. But at the boarder there seems to be different rules: You can search for deposits on every tile even if they cant be lowered and you will find a stone deposit everytime you search. However you wont find gold or crafting material there.

Excactly, I've put all my quarries there as well, it's the best spot for quarries. I don't even want my quarries to find any coal, so it's actually a plus for me that they can only dig stone.

To get ressources it's simple : do battles. Nothing is faster than that.

Blacksmiths and mines automatically produce, maybe focus your economy on those. Remember it's possible to have up to 8 cities.
