DoD:Source -> Steam Linux native version

Good people, I've picked up my account again to fire some rounds in DoD:Source (the best game ever) in Linux!

Looks like I've hitted /dev/null... Any news regarding bringing this awesome game ?

Been running great, but I can't wait to access more servers. Also, HL2: Deathmatch just started downloading.

hmm I got as far as the menu screen but when i joined a game it loaded half way then kicked me back to the desktop :( anyone else had this issue..... Ireally wanna play this

did you try and join from your server history, or did you search for internet servers? there seems to be only one beta linux server right now.

Hmm good point I just click the first one I on screen after hitting connect....I'll give it another try

Yep All working for it just a shame my FPS skill have gone south for the winter.... I major suck haha

Yep. runs great on Fedora 18 (3.8.2-206.fc18.x86_64, fglrx prop. drivers).
The incompatibility with the regular windows servers is kind of a bummer though, I hope the beta phase won't take too long ;)

I may just be talking out of my @$$, but they seem pretty motivated to get things up and running. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire store is available on linux within the next 6 months.

Ati 6950 производительность великолепная =) Единственно есть баги с текстурами иногда. Не появляется ntrcnehf оружия при выборе в HL2DM чаще всего дробовик. В DODS пока ничего критичного не заметил... Жду трио HL2 L4D и Portal
