Linux: no in-game mic

Anyone else having this problem? My mic works with the mic-test in options[voice] before I join a game. But in-game and in options[voice] while in-game, my mic doesn't work. Anyone else similar? fix? known bug?

I have this problem, too. Mic test before starting a game works but ingame there isn't a signal from microphone.

I remember this was a problem with audio codecs. Some servers use a special audio codec wihich is not implemented or linked in linux steam / game versions. So on some servers I can speak and on others not.

I have a problem too, when I joined a server that have 32 players and they say I mic is low, but I try to fix it and it still low to them.

This problem still exists probably because nobody actually reported it to Valve. Submit a support ticket.
