I'd be fine if they did it like in CS:GO or dota. Just purely cosmetical, no strange weapons etc that change the gameplay.
I dont care for the cosmetics anyway, but alteast I can make some money playing dods
Sadly, unless the WWII genre picks up again, we will likely never see another DoD game. FuzzDad, whose son Fuzz helped make the original DoD was asked by Valve to fix some of the errors in the stock maps. He fixed them and sent them to Valve...and nothing was ever done.

FuzzDad also made many of the stock maps for the original DoD.

There were two packs, endorsed and promoted by Valve. There was supposed to be a third pack, and it was sent to Valve...but we never heard anything back from them.
