I want to buy DoD:Source, but before i do i need to know: Do players still play it?

ohh yeah its alive, ofc many people walked away since the start but still a good amout of ppl playing it, many servers can get full(32players) especially in weekends.

No, the game is very dead. You can see it... (right now only 700people are playing it.... and 15% are bots or afk people)

700 PEOPLE thats more than some of the AAA game that die after 6 month.. the 700 that play on regular basis are hardcore fan , most of the try hard have left some most of us are "mature" player who just want to have fun

Not as active as it was a year ago. It does unfortunately seem to be dying down but there still are 30+ servers that almost constantly have players on them. That's pretty good for how old of a game it is.

I last played 2 years ago and the community seems less than half of what it was then. Some moved on to Day of Infamy but that is slightly less dead than this. Pretty sad, this game got me through high school way back lol
