Now RCBot2 has 77 supported maps.
For a cheap multiplayer only install that's quite a good free add-on to convert it to a singleplayer with 77 levels and bots made by experienced players.
Wish we had a workshop for all this stuff.
I suppose placing items in Modding and Configuration would be the closest thing.

Or the guide section does have a 'Workshop" category....

The RCBot2 installer mentioned above gives 84 maps a waypoint system for single play.
9 Standard VALVe maps supported and 75 Custom maps.
Not bad support for a $1.45 game.
Its a pain downloading all of them individually so I made a package to download them all in one zip 1.45GB.
Please see this post over at the RCBot2 forums.[rcbot.bots-united.com]
Or... just pick out each one individually from this page that has a link off to the various download page...
http://www.dodbits.com/dods/index.php/dods/rcbot2-for-dod-s/117-known-rcbot2-waypoints-and-map-downloads
The 75 custom map download does also have 75 separated folders that install into the custom folder so you can pick and chose that way if you like or just copy the lot in one copy/paste from the zip file.
Good selection of maps, it isn't in a preference order, many others have no waypoints so in this map pack... the only ones that got in have a supported waypoint.
To the mappers... I do intend to expand that reference page on RCBot2 supported maps.[www.dodbits.com]
Placing not only the download link but also any other info' on each map, Its a work in progress.
A installer that gets you up and running for Day of Defeat:Source single player and a large map pack for a total of 84 maps supported.
This will install two desktop shortcuts for playing and configuring the single player bots without the need to mess with your steam file directory files.
Get the download here. [www.dodbits.com]
Get the download link at the top of this map support page.[www.dodbits.com]
The maps are listed on that page and have individual download links if you already have most of them and you just need a few.

There will be a few more new players this month, all this must be of great value to them.
But don't forget to play online with others, this is the real experience.
IMO you die a lot more than say in CS:S, but you care less about it, instant respawning helps your gaming ego recover a lot more quickly. And also, it makes a better game environment with much less trolling, less p.issed off people.
Welcome to the club :D
No problem, working on a Teammenu panel next, sort of like this....
http://www.dodbits.com/downloads/bots/rcbot/rcbot2_menu.jpg
.... but better looking and updated with the correct commands.
The idea there is to set the server to zero bots, pick your team then open the Teammenu again and select how many bots on the server for that particular map.
I have my installed set working at a 16 player server so (I think) that is a decent average for any map.
There is a work around in varying the amount of bots on each map.
Try this -
1.
In the install you can always open the extra shortcut on the desktop called "RCBotProfiles" click on it.
2.
In the RCBot2 Profiles screen, it will open at the default tab "Launch & Save" change the RCBot2 setting click the "Add bots Automatically" in "Adding Bots" area to Min 31 and then Max 32 then "Save Config and exit".
3.
Click on the game shortcut "RCBot2 Day of Defeat Source" to start the game, then use the "Create Server" link.
4.
A "Create Server" dialogue box opens to start a map, select the map, then click on the "Game" tab and select a lower Maximum where it says "Max.players" via typing it in.
That is a way to control the amount of bots on each map with little effort.
I played dod_Orange_Gunna_Arena on 16 players, it is just a fun map for practice but nuts to cap out on, I love to cap out.
That's really not the point of the "Fun" maps anyway but... 'Fun' is a personal thing
I set that map at 6, 8, 10 and it was "better" to cap out on.
But then I tried 24 and 32 players, busy...slightly mad, nuts ... my team capped out.
It was actually more fun overcrowded than I thought.
There are more commands to play with but that absolutely is the best method of control of player numbers.... just increase RCBot2 to 32 for all maps and control it in the "Create Server" tabs.
Still exploring all the commands but I did notice the RCBot2 manual isn't up to date some commands from the older versions are different.
I have a little problem setting up the bots quota in my dedicated server...perhaps you could help me on this one?
As you know there is 2 ways to do it:
-The "auto bot quota" option, using a time interval to check to bot/human player count.
-The other option, using a fixed minimum and maximum of bots.
Well, none of them seem to be very good at balancing the team numbers, sometimes after joining the server (8 bots total) there is 6 bots on one side and 2 on the other, or 5 versus 3...the main problem of this, the game does not let human players who join the server, choose a side. Even with the Team Inbalance (mp_limitteams) disabled, they are not able to choose a side. It says "team is full".
And it happens kind of randomly, as there are times that it actually works fine.
Apart from this, I have nothing but praise for the rcbot2 plugin and the community who created them.
Where did you get your download from?
Here?...

Take a read of this...

It is Nightc0re build (v 1.0 Win b473)
http://rcbot.bots-united.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1967
I decided to stay with the automatic bot quota for now.
But you know what...yesterday there were like a record 12 players, and all "bot problems" magically disappeared :D.
So the real issue is the lack of players in the server, haha...and the real fix, having it full of people happily fragging each other...but thanks again, mate, nonetheless.
