Copied from a previous post,

Download "Sturmbot" or "Shrikebot"

Get Sturmbot from one of the following links,

Get Shrikebot from,
http://shrikebot.bots-united.com/download.htm

Installation path should be under your dod directory
* Important - make a backup of your Liblist.gam file before installing & replace the modified file with the backup.

In most cases the installer will create a shortcut to launch the game with bots.
If not, create a shortcut to your steam.exe from your desktop. Then right click the shortcut & go to Properties then set the Target similar to following example (Change the steam folder location relevent to your installation)

For Sturmbot,
D:\steam\steam.exe -applaunch 30 -dll D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\dod\sturmbot\dlls\sturm_bot.dll

For Shrikebot,
D:\steam\steam.exe -applaunch 30 -dll D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\dod\dlls\shrikebot.dll

You have to do necessary settings in "Bot.cfg" for Sturmbot & "Shrikebot.cfg" for Shrikebot
You can find the Readme/help file for both bots under their installation folders.
