Below guide by S3B works for Day of defeat, and allows you to fly around and make videos & screen shots, but you still need to use this screen shot script to remove the hud.

does not work ,and your txt lacks comma's, let me explain the lack of you explaining it clearly
you have to be in player mode instead of spectator mode ,is the major flaw ,once thats clear we can see that if we remove the players model,hands,weapon ..it give the illusion of a clear pic
yes the tutorial works , the clarity of what you need to expect ..not so much

borders still there , since i suggested you do this guide its the least i can do to let you know there still there , is this the script from s3b as his only works for counter strike :explained the guides lack of info above

Note though that I'm STILL using the pre-SteamPipe version of the game... I'm not sure where the file needs to be copied to for the newer updated version of the game.

well you tried Livewire that all we can ask , so above in player mode we can give the illusion of being in "spectator" mode and achieve this , thx guys I knew we could find a way to do this now that guide needs updating

My steam overlay screen shot key (F12) isn't working, the upload window doesn't pop up when I exit the game. It works in other games though

did you observe what if any key is listed in your options , you may need to asighn that key again and make shure your config is not read only when you do , make it read only after , ofcourse adjusting the file itself would be the same as going to options section in game

There is a check box to turn the overlay on, its just near the screen shot settings, and make sure that play a sound is on as well so you hear a camera shutter sound when it works.

steam > view > settings > Enable the steam overlay

You can also turn it on/off for each game, goto library > right clcik DOD > properites > enable steam overlay in this game

Btw fraps and other capture programs might mess up the overlay.

My ingame Dod option is set to nothing, should I set it to F12 also?

give it a try ,and before doing it see if your config is set to read only , if so turn that off breifly

Nah dont worry about the in game one it only saves a bmp to your dod folder, is your render set to opengl in Dod graphics options?

If you sync both to the same key bind they only end up in the screenshot folder ?

I have Opengl set to render.
What should I put in the Ingame options, nothing? default F5?
