Controller Support?
Hi, will the game feature the controller support in a future? It could be cool since it only have two button for move and three for actions. Maybe the analog on the pad could be used as a mouse, or for navigating through the map.

If you use something like xpadder, joy2key, or autohotkey you can simply use the controller just like you would the keyboard and mouse.

Yes, i know, i use joy2key for some games, but it's always preferable to have an in-game customize buttons option. Controller support must be granted nowadays.

I'm liking the game, actually i've unlocked two costumes, a dozen of badges and i'm beginning playing in hard mode but i'd love to play this on my TV screen instead on my work desk.

I really hope in a future controller implementation. :)

I enjoy creating controller profiles for games that don't have native support. Here's what I've come up with for Noir Syndrome, so far:

Inspect = X
Menu = Esc
Move Left = Left Arrow
Move Right = Right Arrow
Notebook = C
Select = LMB
Shoot = Z

D-pad left: Move Left
D-pad right: Move Right
D-pad up: Select
D-pad down: Select

L Joystick left: Move Left
L Joystick right: Move Right

R Joystick: (mouse cursor)

A button: Inspect
B button: Shoot
X button: Shoot
Y button: Notebook
L shoulder: Move Left
R shoulder: Move Right
Back: Notebook
Start: Menu
L joystick button: Select
R joystick button: Select
L trigger: Shoot
R trigger: Inspect

I like a lot of redundancies, so I can hit whatever feels intuitive. For such a mouse-intensive game, having the cursor assigned to the right joystick is a bit awkward, but I like moving the character and cycling through locations with the left joystick. Clicking the D-pad down for the left mouse click works pretty well, and uses the opposite hand from movement. Plus, you can leave the mouse cursor hovering over the lower-right corner of the screen for much of the game.

That is very good, was this game ever updated? Does it work with steam now using a controller? none of us with steam big picture can buy this.

You could, you can still use a mouse and keyboard with big picture mode.

Here's something you should look into, a mouse/keyboard combo for the couch.

Pinnacle Game Profiler is the tool I use to implement controller profiles for games that don't have native support (shareware, on almost-constant "flash sale" for $4.99, well worth it for the hundreds of pre-built profiles you can download). It works perfectly with Steam games, including Noir Syndrome. It can run in the background, so should work with big picture mode.
