I hope such a thing will never come. I know that the map isn´t easy. I know that it takes lots of hours to learn the basics of it. But really? You wan´t a automatic wordmap in such a game?
That wouldn´t fit very well in my eyes.
Go play The Sims with ur radar map, french puddles and rest of ur friends...
Hardcore Realism Sandbox is the description of the game, and we like it that, dont like it, go somewhere else, Bambi
Of course they can implement such a simple addition to the game but it's a survival game not your typical arcade shoot 'em up like the ex failed PUBG kids want, the game has already unintentionally attracted those types of players thanks very much. Plus, it's just simply a stupid ideal, the game is for players with at least some kind of intelligence who can navigate around using road signs and maps, I mean you can even cheat and have the map in front of you in the steam overlay after searching for a picture of it, how much more simpler than that can it get? Would you like a sat nav included too? perhaps vocal directions so you don't even have to look at the screen, even better, set the destination and your character can just there all by itself! lol!
:D oh man - so you think you are the next stephen hawking cuz you can navigate without a map? Well done Sir! Genius person you are - not like those peaseants who play other games, or even that hated PUBG (which has exactly the same long term goal - PVP - and does it far better)
Grow up lil fanboy
Seriously, the point is to start out disoriented and slowly piece together the map in your mind. You start by getting familiar with landmarks, and then following the roads and remembering where they lead. It's very much like real life, where you also don't start with a map unless you find/buy one. Learn as you go. It's one of my favorite aspects of the game.
It's like how people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about not starting with weapons in PUBG. Yeah, it made the game more difficult, but that was what made the game fun and unique.
Lol, you have been around how long and still think civil is an option for some people?
Do like the looks of the new town, maybe when i cant see 11 people looting ill actually take a look around....watching fights from the radio tower is cool though(with binos).
